Every so often, I feel like I want to blow everything up and start over.

Sometimes, I have.

Other times, I take it as a sign that I need to stop and clear my head.

To let my inner innovator and intuitive step back into the spotlight.
And to make space in my life.

Not to add something else in, but just to be and breathe. To reflect. To listen for (and to) the quiet voice that knows what I really want to do, deep down.

So often, I see productivity gurus talking about MORE. Get more done, fit more things in, maximize the hours in your day, be more, do more, more more more!

But what's often missing from that conversation is the question: WHY?

Why are you fitting more things in?
Why do you want or need to get more things done?
What's the end benefit of maximizing the hours you have?

Now, don't get me wrong. Modern life keeps us all on our toes. Schedules full to the brim. To-do lists overflowing.

It feels like the reality of living in this day and age.

However... (There's usually a "however.")

It's easy to allow our schedules and lists to get taken over by other people. By outside priorities. And by things that drag us down instead of lighting us up.

There's a quote I love that says, "If things aren't adding up in your life, start subtracting."

That's why, every so often, I like to sit down and revise my lists and schedules. And there's a particular process I usually use to get clarity around my work and why the heck I'm doing what I am.

It's more than just revision. This work comes with an intention to gain new clarity and perspective around what's essential in my work and life.

I used to teach this process as a self-paced 14-day course, but realized there's power in doing things a little differently.

What if you took a weekend away from it all, in the comfort of your own space (or a vacation rental or Airbnb at the beach), to work through a process that combines the relaxation of a personal retreat with the outcomes of a re-visioning process?

Reset, achieved.

There will be yoga, mindfulness practices, time and space to take walks in nature, downtime to use as you see fit, as well as blocks of time to work through the process and get clear on your foundation.

Are you ready to hit the reset button... gain clarity... get perspective... and see what happens when you make a little space?

Not for something new. But for something better. Something more aligned with where you want to head. (Not where someone else thinks you should be going.)

The world needs us, rested, recharged, and pointed in the right direction. Now, more than ever.
